In DAZ Studio, the 'content' folder is the top of the hierarchy. In the Poser content hierarchy, the 'runtime' folder is the very top folder. A common error made by new users of DAZ 3D content is to target the 'runtime' folder. The DAZ 3D content installer requires the user to select a target folder. Since this article the default install path for content should be in the user's document folder. This is no longer recommended for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8. At the time this article was made, most users had Windows XP. It recommends installation into the Program Files folder.
